I live in Kansas City and I'm looking to start collecting WVO and get my filtering process going... Where are you guys getting your tanks? Are you using steel/plastic/stainless steel?
Where can I get these tanks for litle or no money?

Milktoast,
Are you looking for drums? I can give you a lead to some places around KC that you can get steel, plastic, etc.
I got a couple of steel drums that the whole top comes off in Lone Jack MO for $11 each, they have a bunch more I might head out there to pick up acouple more.
And there is a place out where I live that have some, but haven't checked the price yet.
You can find danalinscott on member list - his profile - his website. He has plans for an inexpensive filtration system that works well, in his plans he answers those ?s.

I just bought Dana's plans....
KansasDiesel - I just got a free 55gal from a friend. I'd like to get 2 or 3 more.
Let me know when you are going to go.
Did you get my email on taking a look at your system?

Sorry haven't checked that e-mail yet, work has been busy, taking a lunch break and will respond soon.
Your more then welcome to go with me to get some drums. I might check the place west of me and see his prices, it may be cheaper, due to my Truck isn't veggie yet :( and driving to Lone Jack would take a tank at $2 a gal.
