filter education needed

I just posted about a problem I am having. My Heated WVO filter from greasecar is clogging every 1000-1200 miles. I gotta get more filter life than that. I filter my WVO through 5 micron felt filter bags from McmasterCarr. How do I tell if this 5 micron is actual or nominal? (Had a posted ask me this and I don't have a clue.) Once my WVO goes through the filter bags back into totes it sits for several week. When I pour it in my tank I never pour the last bit in. I stop filling when it reaches the cloudy stuff.
Perhaps I need to totally redue my filtering setup?
Any help appreciated.

If your oil is partially hydrogenated you will need more heat to liquify it, this may be the issue as you mention "cloudy stuff".
