My WVO source uses canola oil with Dimethlypolysiloxane for antifoaming. Is there any reason the anti foaming agent would be a problem before I proceed any further?
Thanks.

why the hell would he be adding anti foaming agents to WVO?
Diesel foams when pumped through hight speed pumps ...but WVO?

This is how it comes out of the box when delivered to the food place. It is made by Bunge Oils out of St. Louis and has a branding name of Nutra-Clear. I have a copy of the label pulled from the jugs.

DMS is added in very small amts, 2 to 4 ppm, won't be a problem.

This is a common anti foaming agent. I tried to find out what would happen to this compound in a combustion reaction. I asked on a Chemistry forum and I got a response that it could be converted to Silicone or sand, which obviously would be bad. I don't think there is enough to really cause a problem.

maybe the sand/silicone would help clean the injectors?? :D some of my oil has the same ingredient--so far so good.
