I'm looking to experiment with filtering bags and was wondering if anyone that has ordered a large quantity of them would be willing to sell me two so I don't have to buy a whole bunch to get started. If it works then I'll buy in bulk. This will also buy me some time to save some money and pass it buy the fiance.

I use the 5 gallon pail filters and the Filter Screens.

It is also easy to make your own washable/reusable filter bags. Only in 10 microns though. I have made them in less than 3 minutes for less than $1 each..but 5 minutes at $5 each is a safer claim.
I sell the "how-to" file for this for $10..or it is included free in my other prefilter/dewatering unit design files.
Heres the link (http://vegoilconversions.netfirms.com/Prefilter%20units.htm)

Hey French Fry, is that your own stuff your selling. I noticed it was coming out of San Francisco. If it's yours, do you sell any of those filtering screens at a smaller micron than 100. I like the 5 micron water filter element with water blocker and pressure guages. I was going to build one like that, but I don't need it yet.

For the first filtering stage I have used the leg cut off of a pair of jeans. Simply tie the bottom shut and tie the thigh part over end of the pipe or hose or whatever you are using. Actually this makes a pretty good "Rougher Filter" I follow with a 50 or 25 micron then finish with a 5-micron. Hope this helps ... Ken

Yes, indirectly. I've been tinkering with Grease filtering solutions and I accumlated so much Grease related stuff my wife opened the store. The 100 micron filters are as small as they go. The fry oil filters go down to about 20 microns. None are on the store right now but could add them if you wish to go below 100 microns in your pre-filtering set up.
