I will be buying a 6.2 Sub 4x4 in SF/Bay area, and have 2 installers in mind.
Any body have any suggestions? I want the diesel tank underneath, where the PU's have it, and as many heaters as regular below-zero temps require. Upstate New York winters are REAL! This truck will be driven around central Ca for a week, whereupon I will ship it back east. I'll be there in mid October. Thx, Andrew |

My plans went off just about perfect, save for a slight delay/confusion getting the Sub and Corvair picked up in Long Beach. See it here...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Pa34wprLNU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLS0HBYv1Lg I also bought another 99.9 IDENTICAL Sub with a Banks. I'd convert them both, + maybe another rusty 3500 6.2 4x4. What kit, if any does your friend use? I was speaking with a fellow in Ithaca, NY that makes top-of-the-line parts and tanks. He said he MIGHT help with the insatallation. I'll PM you... Ug |

I bought it from Gregg Wicken in the Finger Lakes region of Central New York. He had a 75 gallon custom tank made for me. Now if I only had the time to install it!
