Sticker finally came today from the Dept. of Food and Agriculture so I am officially legal! Now I can advertise to prospective restaurants "Licensed and Insured".

I got a quote from AAA for $230 for the year for a 1 million umbrella liability policy to be covered legally in CA. Anybody else get better rates? Now I already have my home and auto with them so perhaps there is a discount there. I could not find any bonds for a personal use policy everything was commercial. Cool thing about the liability umbrella is it covers you for anything personal. Here is the link for the CA personal use form.

CA 2010 Grease license is still $100 to register (each year- AGAIN) and $75 for the license. CA recognizes "Personal Use" catagory on application. Still cheap to be legal. Glad to see Arnold hasn't raised the fees- yet!
