I started saving WMO a few years ago when I was planning to get a WMO boiler to heat my house and shop. It has taken a few tries on CL to give it all away for free - but I think the last of it will go bye-bye tonight. The poor bastard coming for this last bit is running it in his IDI F350 and a MBZ. He said he used to run WVO, but it was nothing but problems... LOL!
He is supposed to bring me 50-75gals of CF'ed WVO in cubies he doesn't want!! ![]() So, before he confessed to burning WMO he mentioned he was broke down somewhere. I immediately asked if it was due to WMO! Anyway, sure hope he gets it fixed long enough to come get this crap outta my way. ![]()

WMO is a great alternative fuel. Once "cracked" into diesel it burns just fine. Any other way is a huge crap shoot.
But as we know ALOT of guys are running WMO so the verdit should be in in 2 to 3 years. If the majority Of WMO burners are still standing I might just give it a try. Until then I will be the observer & not the tester.

He showed up in an F150... Said the problem was not fuel-related.
He took the last 150+ gals of WMO I had, so I wish him the best of luck.In a lot of ways, the plight of the WMO guys is not unlike what we were doing several years ago. Most diesel guys were convinced we were screwing up - and in fact A LOT of people were!! (ie, lovecrap and 'one shot' filtration from dumpsters - oh wait, they still sell that pos... ) I too am still waiting for a few of these guys to pull away from the crowd and continue to claim success after 20, 30, 40k miles - but so far they drop off the boards after a few months of preaching the glory of 'W85'. ![]()

Im not saying it's not a useable fuel. Just saw a few things that make it not for me. I find watching others results fascinating, would like to see more of them 2 tank it.
I have my vo perfected for me now the Benz is running better than ever and filtering is pretty much hands off now. I can't see going back to square 1 now. |

yes there is this thing that "cracks" the oil but WVO is so much simpler.
