I hear Saul Alinsky is running for president. That's what Gingrich has been saying.

The guy who wrote the article above is obviously an Alinsky admirer.
Here are some famous quotes of his: http://www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/1711776 No thanks. Not interested in Alinsky or anyone who admires him. |

What exactly in those quotes do you have a problem with?

#2 and #6 are ok
The rest I don't like. Since I am a conservative, you will not like why I don't like them or agree with them, so really no need to go any further. |

#1 for example
He states human spirit grows from doubting whether we are right or not. To me that's bs. Then he states if you think you possess what is right, then you are dark. My foundation is in absolutes: gravity, solids, liquids, gases etc...... I also hold to the theory that those absolutes exist in all realms and dimensions; relatively speaking of course. #1 goes totally against that. #3 states curiousity and irreverance go together. Nothing could be further from the truth. If you are never curious, then you never apply yourself and gain knowledge. That doesn't mean you're irreverant. |

Ron Paul tells the truth, however the majority of American people don't want the truth, because they can't handle the truth. The vast majority of Americans want promises that the status quo will be preserved, they will keep their jobs, they will keep their homes, they will keep their pensions, they will keep their medical coverage...
They will vote for the most popular candidate who makes those promises. They're not going to vote for Ron Paul because they're afraid he's telling the truth and it scares the shit out of them. The media don't tell the truth, they sell propaganda, and they craft the propaganda for the audience they're selling to. The MSM don't want to publish anything about Ron Paul because most Americans don't want to be confronted by what Ron Paul says, because it might be true, and like Col. Jessup said: "You can't Handle the Truth" |

Not unrerasonable, since the vast majority will keep their jobs, and their homes, and their pensions and their medical coverage...

Hate is a strong word. And it has nothing to do with Gingrich.
I'll stand Gingrich's past up against Obama's past any day of the week. There are several two to three stretches in Obama's life that are blacked out. Alinsky, Reverend Wright and Bill Ayers are just three of the people in Obama's past that are questionable characters. This came up last election cycle and it was brushed under the rug by the mainstream media. It interfered with their love fest. Ron Paul would be what would be best for true freedom loving people. America is no longer a nation where the majority are freedom loving people. They are much more concerned with envy, class warfare and handouts. Obama is the greatest Food Stamp president in the history of the United States. Food Stamps = votes! |
