I plan to use a Dana heater wrap for the filter. The Heat Exhanger is from aquatic ecosystems here Only $9! It is designed to be a heat exchanger. The fuel pick up attaches to that bulkhead fitting in the bottom left corner of the tank and will feed from the center of the coil. I'll post a picture when the welder finishes fixing their botched work and gets the tank back to me.

Here are a few pictures of my coolant hose route. I believe I am the first route them this way. I have also made a post about this route in the TECH section. Thanks to Fred B. who gave me the tip about using the shock inspection port.

The last parts for my conversion arrived today, my pollak valves. I may be able to get it up and running this weekend.

More Pictures! My filter sporting a Dana wrap and insulation, and a few of my tank mount which also required NO DRILLING . I plan to insulate the tank as well.

I've almost got everything installed now. I still need to cut into the stock diesel lines. I seem to have an airlock in my coolant heating system. I'll post about that after I do some research.

Well tomorrow is the big day. I finished hooking up all the lines. I primed the diesel leg of the system, put some oil in the tank and went for a drive to heat things up. Then I came home shut off the car and flipped the veg switch, then primed the veg side. Only problem I had was one fitting was too loose and leaked a bit of oil. when I removed the hose to tighten the connection the pressure in the system shot oil all over the engine compartment. oops!

Anybody have any last words of advice?

IT RUNS! I switched over and there was not even a hiccup. I got out and smelled the exhaust and it was delicious! My injection temp was...100 F... WHA??? My current route is HIH, FPHE Filter with a wrap, temp sensor, IP. I think I will switch the route so that the FPHE is after the filter. My theory is the filter wrap can not heat the oil as well as the FPHE (duh) and the filter is so large that it was taking awhile to displace the oil in it with the hot oil from the FPHE. I'll play with it more tomorrow.

Do you have any updates on your conversion? I enjoyed the great photos and diagrams. I'm planning a 190D conversion, so I'm trying to get ideas. Any more info you can offer would be appreciated and put to use.
