2006 Tropical Storm Season Now Below Normal

I live in northern central US and so do not really know about hurricane season...is it over already? And does just looking at the Atlantic hurrican season really prove anything. Wouldn't looking at the WORLDS tropical depression and hurricane/typhoon frequency be more representative?

Our hurricane season just started in june and runs until november 15. Our first one seems to be on its way now.

If there is any global warming, which most non-junk scientists agree there is not, it is caused by an uptick in volcanic activity, and not man-made. Mount P in the Phillipines alone in one year spits out more greenhouse gases than the entire industrialized world.
