Jed Clampett’s long range tank
![]() |
Frybrid accepts no responsibility for the use of this “Tweak” Say y’all want to visit uncle Bob off over the hills an’ you don’t have a large enough tank for yer trip. Well what I did was like this; I installed a ball valve at the point here the coolant comes from the engine and goes into the Frybrid system, right before the little temperature sensor, and I turned that valve off. This’n way there aint no heat getting to the Frybrid system. Then I wired up a lil’ momentary push button between the pins (#3 & #4) connected to the temperature sensor, I got me a green one. I had no vegetable oil but I had a mess of home brew (Biodiesel), so I filled up my main tank with home brew, then I filled up my Frybrid tank with it too!. When I started fixin’n to run out of brew in my main tank I just turned on the Frybrid system, since I’d blocked the flow of hot coolant the lil’ temperature sensor though my motor was cold and she would’n switch so I reached up and just pressed that lil’ green button and in a New York second I was running on my home brew from my Frybrid tank. |
When I got to Bob’s he was waiting up fur me with a whole mess of clean dewatered golden vegetable oil. I filled up my Frybrid tank with the golden goodness and just drove back home like I always have, the first few miles on home brew an’ the rest on free oil those restaurants just gunna throw out. I’m sure it don’t make a like of difference to y’all, but I’m almost certain Bob’s wife is runnin’ ‘round behind his back with that Jenkins boy an’ I just didn’t have the heart to tell him. |
