READ BEFORE ORDERING
As all our systems are made to order, expect (4) weeks or less for delivery of systems not requiring a tank, four (4) weeks or more for delivery of systems requiring a custom tank. Depending upon stock, parts may ship in as little as three days. While every effort is made to expedite your order in a timely manner, there is always the inevitable backlog. Backlogs have been the bane of Frybrid for as long as we have been in business. One of the most frequently asked questions is "Why does it take so long to have a system made?" The answer is that the demand for our product has always exceeded our ability to produce. It doesn't take so long to make the system, its the processing of the orders that are ahead of yours that keeps us behind. It has been our past experience that no matter how many craftsmen we add to the staff, when our delivery times drop, the demand picks up and we are soon back in the same situation. Still, we are trying to address the problem. We understand that many of you cannot wait the sometimes 4 weeks (or longer) it takes to get our product. For those who cannot wait, I may suggest that you contact one of our dealers listed at the bottom of this page for possible in-stock delivery. COMPONENTS: Some Frybrid components, like the in-tank heat exchanger, controller, etc. are only sold as part of a complete kit, as they will not work properly without other components of our system. COMPLETENESS OF KIT: A Frybrid kit may not include all necessary mounting brackets for your particular vehicle. The installer may need to fabricate brackets to mount pumps, heat exchangers, filters or other components. Valves and hose connections can typically be mounted with simple bolts and washers. Our systems now utilize an inductive fuel level sender with no moving parts and a low fuel alarm which can be wired to automatically purge the system on low fuel. |

Kit to adapt the RDS Aluminum truck bed tool box 60 or 91 gallon tanks - These tanks are not sold by Frybrid but are available from northerntool.com, RDS Aluminum and other vendors, links to those vendors are in the product description below. By selecting the "RDS tank kit", we know which parts to send you to allow you to modify these tanks for use with the Frybrid system. The tank will need to be modified using a pattern supplied in the Frybrid kit. You will need to cut a 6" hole in the tank using a jig saw and the supplied pattern for the Frybrid heat exchanger and a 1 1/4" hole for the Frybrid fuel level sender. The heat exchanger for this tank provides a fuel well and fuel line and coolant connections. Estimated time to complete this modification is less than one hour. All required parts supplied - This tank kit is designed specifically for the RDS Aluminum Tool Box Tanks and is not suitable for other applications. NOT available without a "kit" |
